Double Gold: KTM Scarp Takes Both Titles at the Marathon World Championships
It was a golden weekend for KTM at the UCI Mountain Bike Marathon World Championships in Primiero San Martino di Castrozza, Italy, where the Scarp took both elite rainbow jerseys on home soil in the Dolomites.
Anna Weinbeer, riding for KTM Spadabike powered by Brenta Brakes, claimed the Elite Women's title in a time of 5:30:54 over the brutal 95km, 4,000m-climbing course — on a 29" Scarp. It's the latest win in what's been a stellar season for the Swiss rider, who also picked up the UCI XCM World Cup title and Swiss and European championship crowns this year.

In the men's race, Andreas Seewald powered to victory in 4:33:47, holding off a strong Italian charge — but on something rather different underneath him: the Scarp 32", a still-unreleased addition to the Scarp family rolling on 32-inch wheels, a size no other brand on the start line was running. Set to launch in early 2027, the Scarp 32" isn't in showrooms yet, but a World Championship win on its debut outing is about as strong a proof of concept as it gets.

Two riders, two versions of the same bike, one weekend of gold. Watch this space for the Scarp 32".
